L'OREAL ELVIVE TOTAL REPAIR SHAMPOO+ CONDITIONER - REVIEW

WHAT L'OREAL CLAIMS:

New L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Repairing Shampoo is specially designed to repair damaged, devitalized hair cell after cell, without weighing down. L'Oreal Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo is specifically designed for damaged and devitalized hair. This shampoo repairs the hair without weighing it down. The formula includes pro-keratin and ceramide, which restore the hair fiber, making it stronger and silky to touch with a healthy shine. Suitable for hair damaged by heat or color.

My Thoughts:

This shampoo works wonders for some but not for others. Me and my two other cousins started using it together and none of us liked it. It made our hair dry and frizzy. Our hair fall increased and it made our scalps dry/itchy. Although it lacks sulfates, it contains substitute chemicals which can actually cause more irritation (just for the lathering effect). My scalp has been irritated and itchy. Very annoying.

This weighed my hair down and left the scalp feeling greasy and gross! As someone who hates the feeling of any excess product in her hair, I was not a happy camper. I also know it was the shampoo that did this because I just washed with my regular shampoo and I was all good again!
I have always been sceptical about such damage repair shampoos working. But, I'm human, so I still keep trying and trying different things for my hair. After shampooing my hair it felt very rough; I would understand if it were a clarifying shampoo, but its a moisturising shampoo. The conditioner is good though and it smells nice but the smell doesn't last long.
Also, make sure you click the cap fully closed or the product will ooze out all over.
i got mine from Al-fateh but you can also get these online from these sites.

I am not at all impressed with this shampoo and conditioner and I will never gonna purchase it again for me n my cousins it was a totall waste of money n a lot of good hair days

MAC PRO LONGWEAR FOUNDATION REVIEW

Hello Guys!

I am a foundation junkie and believe it to be the one make up product that can totally elevate your mood and make you feel like an improved version of yourself.I also like a natural finish and this one promised:

" A comfortable, long-wearing foundation that gives up to 15 hours of wear in any environmental condition. Lightweight and creamy, applies and blends easily leaving the skin feeling soft and free to breathe all day while controlling oil. Specially treated micronized pigments help give a smoother, more flawless, natural finish with stay-true color."

My thoughts:

I love using Mac Studio Fix but decided to switch up and try the Pro Longwear.MAC has not yet failed to please me. It is very light and gives  VERY full coverage, I only need a pump and a half  and my whole face is flawless. I am far from flawless. I have redness around my nose and an uneven skin-tone.I always get compliments when I wear this because my skin looks like SKIN, not foundation. Not a mask.

when it says "pro longwear" they really do mean that. My face makeup doesn't budge when i have this on. I ll have had this foundation on for hours and it'll look like i just applied it to my face. It even holds my blush all day which is a huge plus for me because of the Hijab, and yes guys it is Sweat proof haha.

I only have one complain about this foundation and that is you cannot make a mistake after applying this. Removing mascara/eyeliner smudges after the foundation sets is very hard, almost impossible. You cannot remove it without leaving a black gross streak on your face.

I apply it with my fingers. It is very tricky to apply. You have to apply it in small sections. it dries super quickly so you gotta put it on fast. But if you need to go over any areas you missed or need to touch up, it will cake. You need to make sure you exfoliate your face often and moisturize your face well when using these types of foundations. It will make a world of a difference in the way your foundation applies and looks, trust me. It will sink into your skin rather than sit on top of it and blending will be a breeze. If you want heavier coverage make sure you apply it in thin layers, not all at once. I like medium coverage and I can definitely get it from one thin layer as you only need to use a tiny bit of this product.

Over all i am really amazed with this foundation. Amazing coverage,a little over priced but its worth it. Definitely gonna purchase it again

it Retails for 32$  LINK!

Oh I probably wouldn't recommend it for people with very dry skin.
i got mine from MAC's website.
if you live in Pakistan then you can also get it from just4girls.pk LINK! They sell it for 5290/RS on their website.

Thanks for reading and don't forget to leave your comment in the section below telling me about your favorite foundation.

MONDAY MANICURE--FOREVER 21 NAIL COLOR IN MIAMI PINK--NOTD

Miami pink is a very beautiful neon orange pink color. it looks more pink in the bottle and more coral/orange on the  nails, which looks very pretty in the sunlight and is a really fun color for summer n spring.

As for the nail polish itself, it is quite sheer with one coat and is very opaque with two. When I look at my nails in the light, I can see my nail line, so i prefer three coats. The formula is creamy and dries quickly. I was able to apply a second coat within a minute. The finish is actually very shiny. A top coat is totally optional.

Coral is one of my favorite colors and i am also wearing my favorite coral lipstick on my lips today which will debut on my blog very soon.
This Nail Polish can be found at Forever 21 stores LINK!.

Whats on your nails? don't forget to tell me in the comment section below.

Beauty Blogger Tag

Hello Guys!

I love ready and watching Tag posts and videos. They are so much fun. I did few of them on my old blog which is unfortunately no longer working. My friend Hera did one last month, I suggest you all to check her BLOG out, and she is super creative with hair styling. So I decided to do that one too.
Let’s jump right into it!

1. Name a beauty routine you hardly do.
I hate wearing sunscreen and I always forget to moisturize my lips before applying lipstick.

2. Is washing your brushes something that you regularly do?
I wash my brushes every two to three weeks.

3. How long do you wear chipped nail varnish?
Ah! I am very lazy with removing my nail polish. I would say 1 week hehe.

4. How often do you buy/replace a beauty item or nail polish, if you need it?
I always have a backup of my favorite beauty and bath products.

5. What is your worst beauty habit?
I hate wearing sunscreen and I avoid wearing it intentionally which is very bad. I know!! :(.

6. Name something (non-beauty) thing that you tend to put off all the time.
That's easy... I hate confrontations.

7. When going out somewhere do you keep getting ready until the last-minute?
It really depends on where I am going, as I can get ready in a few minutes. But! Recently after getting married I can get ready in 40 minutes that includes taking shower, getting dressed, makeup, scarf and accessories.

8. Can you commit to spending bans?
Not really, I am a big spender.

9. How organized is your make up and nail polish collection?
It’s pretty organized. Everything is properly placed and I put things back on the right place.

10. What is the longest time you have gone without writing a blog post?
Oh My Goodness! I was out of the blogging world for more than 13 months i.e. my old blog www.glittergossip.com. For some reason that blog is not working anymore. So I made a new one :). I was getting married; I was not able to give full attention to my Old blog. But now I am back in a full swing.

Hope you enjoyed this tag. I am tagging all of you. Leave your feed back in comment box below or if you create a post on this then don't forget to share the link below I would love to see your answers :)

Maybelline's Dream Bouncy Blush In Candy Coral--REVIEW & SWATCH

Hey Guys!

Today i am reviewing Maybelline's Dream bouncy blush in Candy Coral LINK!. I have seen these blushes a lot on YouTube and i have heard a lot of mixed reviews about this product. People either love it or hate it.I got mine from Walgreens for 7.99$. As far as i know these are not yet available in Pakistan but i could be wrong. if you guys know of a place then please share it with us in the comment below.

Description:
Maybelline's Dream Bouncy Blush's unique bouncy texture gives you the freshest flush ever! The revolutionary powder-gel formula is lightweight like a powder, yet it melts seamlessly into skin like a cream, for a sheer wash of bouncy-fresh color that lasts!

Directions:
For the most natural look, use fingertips to apply one layer of blush to apples of cheeks in a circular motion. For more intense color, continue to apply additional layers.

My Thoughts:

They have 10 shades in these blushes and i have been loving everything coral lately so i picked candy coral for myself. I just got one color because i was not sure if i would like it or not. The packaging is just alright.I like the fact that it has a clear top so you don't have to turn and see the label every time you want to apply it.The texture is weirdly cool. You can press the surface and you'll see a dent  from your finger, but then after you smooth it with your finger it bounces back. The texture is very close to play-do.

I like this product. It's different with the mousse like creamy texture but goes on as easy as a powder.I apply it with my fingers. The color candy coral is not very pigmented as you guys can see in the picture but it gives my cheeks a very nice flush of color for a natural look and is not very bright.Candy coral is a very beautiful everyday blush color.I have been using this blush on and off for the last 1 month with BB Cream and i have been liking it a lot the color reminds me of ELF's Peachy Keen Blush but lighter LINK!. I love how it photographs in the sunlight. You have to use your fingers with applying this blush. The staying power of this blush is 3 to 5 hours - not very impressive,But you can reapply it whenever you want with your fingers. I love that you can easily build far more intensity and these blushes are easy to blend. I would certainly consider trying additional shades in the future, but only if I caught them on sale and I think I would only try the other darker shades in the range.

You Might Like It If:

You want a light natural cream blush.
You have no problem applying it with your fingers.

You Might Not Like It If:

You want your blush to last long
If you have darker skin tone.

MY RATING 3 OUT OF 5.

REVIEW: Organix Renewing Moroccan Aragan Oil Conditioner

Hey Guys!

Sorry i have been MIA lately. I was a little sick but now i am back with a review so lets get into it.. I have normal to dry hair and i have always tried to use hair products that make my hair voluminous and moisturized.  Last month i ran out of my Macadamia Deep Repair Masque which i used as a Conditioner( which by the way smells heavenly) so i decided to try a new one from the drugstore to see if i can get the same moisturizing effect with less money.
So about three weeks ago i picked up this Organix Renewing Moroccan Aragan Oil Conditioner  from CVS.

What Organix Claims:
A precious blend of Moroccan argan oil which instantly penetrates the hair shaft restoring shine and softness while strengthening. Derived from the southwest region of Morocco, argan oil protects from styling heat and UV damage while creating soft, seductive, silky perfection. Paraben free.If s the perfect indulgence for soft, seductive, silky perfection,This exotic precious blend of Moroccan argan oil penetrates, moisturizes, renews and creates softness and strength while protecting your hair from harmful styling heat and UV damage as it gives you smooth, sexy tresses. This rare formula has a centuries-old history of providing natural vitamin E and antioxidants while renewing your hair's cell structure, sealing in shine, and creating lush softness. Organix bottles are Eco friendly, manufactured from materials containing recycled post-consumer resin. Not tested on animals.

Directions:
After shampooing, apply Organix Conditioner generously to hair, working through to ends. Wait 3-5 minutes. Rinse hair thoroughly.

My Thoughts:
I was so excited to try this conditioner because i have heard so many positive things about morocon aragon oil and how it repairs your hair and makes it smooth and silky. So i got mine from CVS link LINK! It costs 7.99$ for a full bottle but i got the travel size for 2.99$ and i am really glad that i didn't buy the full bottle because i have been using this conditioner for the past 2 weeks and unfortunately this is the worst conditioner i have ever used, it's  even worse than the Revlon Flex One. It has a very nice scent but the consistency of this conditioner is very watery and not thick like a normal conditioner. It wont coat your hair very well and my hair started to fall out. I usually take a shower in the night and when i touched my hair in the morning it felt very dry, crunchy and lifeless.Over all this product is a total fail and it didn't do anything that it claims it will. I will never repurchase it again.

MY RATINGS 0.5 OUT OF 5
